About the Role
Working at Kilo means being part of a cafe built with intention. The space, the workflow, the service, and the product are all meant to feel considered.
As a barista at Kilo, you would be part of an environment that values:

This is not a bar only role. Every barista at Kilo also works in the kitchen, helps with prep, and runs opening and closing cleaning duties. Some shifts you will be on espresso most of the day. Others you will be on food, prepping, or breaking down and cleaning the kitchen at close. If you are only looking to pull shots, this is not the right fit.
Baristas are expected to be comfortable moving across stations depending on what the shift needs. That includes POS, food and kitchen work, prep, drink building, slow bar, and espresso and milk steaming, along with keeping flow, cleanliness, and consistency across the whole cafe.
Kilo will take an innovative approach to coffee, with a program designed to feel both high quality and approachable. We want people who are excited not just to work in coffee, but to grow with a team that cares deeply about how things are done.
Pay & Hours
Pay
$16 per hour plus tips, with $19 per hour guaranteed.
Hours
Full time and part time. Full time is about 40 hours a week across five shifts. Weekend availability required. Sunday availability is strongly preferred.

A Note on Sundays
Sunday is one of our busiest days and our hardest shift to staff. If your Sundays are open, say so clearly in the form. It is the single biggest thing we are looking for right now, and it will move your application forward faster than anything else on this page.
