We are hiring four full time dishwashers. This is a real seat at the table, not a background job.

About the Role
A cafe is only as good as the state of its kitchen. Clean tools, clean surfaces, everything where it belongs. Guests never see this work, but they taste it and they feel it, and the whole team moves better because of it.
Most of what passes through your hands is breakable. Our ceramics, glassware, and bar tools were chosen deliberately, they are not cheap, and some pieces take weeks to replace. Washing them carefully is the job, not an extra.
Day to day, this role covers:
- Washing dishes, glassware, ceramics, and bar tools carefully through the shift, without chipping or breaking them
- Keeping the kitchen clean, organized, and stocked as you go
- Running opening, mid shift, and closing cleaning tasks
- Breaking down and taking out trash and recycling
- Putting clean equipment back where the team can find it
- Helping the bar and prep team where needed
Speed matters here, but care matters more. We would rather you take an extra few seconds with a stack of cups than move fast and lose a piece. If something does break, we want to hear about it right away, not find it in the bin. Nobody is in trouble for an accident. People are in trouble for hiding one.

$14 per hour.
Hours
Full time only. About 40 hours a week across five shifts, weekends included. Two shifts: 6am to 1pm, or 1pm to 7pm.
